Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon
“The Eugene Curnow Trail Marathon is run over rough woodland trails on a point-to-point course from the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth, MN, to Carlton, MN.
The course encompasses one half of the Minnesota Voyageur Trail Ultramarathon, plus a bit extra to reach 26.2 miles. NMTC introduced the race in 1992 as a thank you to Voyageur volunteers and an introduction to the course for those exploring the 50 miler. The race has become wildly popular in its own right.” - Eugene Curnow
Voyageur Trail Ultramarathon
“Founded in 1982, the Minnesota Voyageur 50 Mile Trail Ultramarathon is one of the oldest trail ultras in the nation. The race follows a rugged, varied, out-and-back course that takes runners on a journey from Carlton, MN, through Jay Cooke State Park, and heads northeast over difficult, rough woodland trails to Duluth, MN—and back. Enjoy scenic overlooks of Lake Superior and cross the iconic Swinging Bridge over the dalles of the St. Louis River.” - Voyageur Trail Website

This year the 24 Hour club was founded after 72 miles of Driftless climbing. What a very cool event, hosted by the very cool people of Driftless Enduranceright here in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin. We can’t wait to do more with them!
